Pact Light Therapy

The fungal infected nail(s) must be reduced in thickness which allows the dye to penetrate to the infecting fungus cells. This also allows any topical sprays or ointments used after the therapy to be more effective.

A photo sensitizer gel is applied to the nail for 10 minutes. The nail must be covered with gel PACT fungus dye which consists of toluidine blue, a non toxic dye (phenothiazine). The infecting fungal cells are selectively dyed by the gel thereby making them the targets of a specific wavelength of light. When this specific light treatment is applied, it is selectively stimulates the dyed cells and causes a reaction with oxygen at the cellular level that breaks down the fungus cell walls and thus kills the fungus cells.
PACT has a 99.99% killing rate of all bacteria, fungi and viruses.
